Aug 25th Sydney, Australia
My mom and I woke up in the morning at 9:00. WE were planning to wake up at 7:00 but of course we were too sleepy and needed to sleep longer. WE wanted to go explore Sydney and our neighborhood.
So we walked 45 minutes to go to the ferry stop. WE saw that next to the ferry there was an amusement park but sadly, the whole time we would be there it would be closed because it only opens on weekends.
WE made it just in time to get on the ferry. On the feryy I ate my muffin which tasted great because I hadn't had a muffin in forever. People here use toilet paper which is great because it already makes me feel like I am home. Many of the places we were there was never any toilet paper. The place that we are going to first is the opera house. There is an opeara house in Boston and one also in Sydney Australia which is cool. I noticed that there were loads of field trips from schools all around sydney, a bit too much for my taste. The field were annoying because there were too many kids screaming and singing, it was overwhelming. Anyways the Opera house looked amazing. It looked like a coral with all these layers and wierd forms. It was really beautiful. Then we headed to this place called "The Rocks" because my mom wanted a beer. So she had a beer and I had my soda. I noticed that Australia is quite cold right now. WE need a jacket, thats how cold it is. Then we went to an art museum that my mom wanted to go to which wasn't very good. After that we walked around a ton and visited lots of places and streets.
We then felt hungry so we went to go eat. I wanted to get fish and chip but my mom insisted I get a steak because she said I was looking skinny. The steak turned out to be the hardest stake I have ever tried to eat. It
was dry and chewy like gum. My mom didn't believe me on how bad it was because she does not believe in wasting food so even though she is a vegetarian she ate some.
Later she regretted it because she didn't really feel good after. We headed back home and fell asleep, I fell asleep watching South Park. It was the episode about hybrid cars and George Clooney
smug smog..it felt like home.
