July 17th Ljubljana, Slovenia-The Castle

July 17 th Ljubljana, Slovenia

this morning my 9 1/2 year old friend and my mom and me are going on a hike.
We are going to travel to a castle. The castle was right next to a big town called Ljubljana with rivers,
where were bridges so you can go over a river and go the castle. There was a path that led up to the castle.
it was one of those paths that went around and around in a spiral until it reached the castle the path was long and hard,
it was also steep. Once we reached the castle I collapsed in exhaustion. I was so tired.
My friend was tired too. We explored the inside of the castle. The caves inside the castle weredark. after we explored the castle we went to go eat.
The first place that we ate at was a pizza place. We didn't really eat but we drank lemonade.
It's hard to understand my friend because he only speaks Slovenian. I usually communicate with them by making body movements or using keywords and explain them with
body movement's. It must be hard to be not knowing what anyone say. I know how he feels because when my mom speaks Spanish to all of the people I feel really left out.
That's why I usually don't talk in English to my mom when everyone is speaking spanish. I usually do the same thing that I do communicate with the nine-year-old boy.
The next place that we went to we actually ate something. We went to a Mexican restaurant where we got the best nochos ever. There was a huge plate of them and we ate
the whole thing. It was a combination of sauces and cheese chips, it taste so good. While we were walking down the pathway we saw an ice cream stand.
I guess you know what happened after that. Once we saw it we ate it. Me and my friend got chocolate but my mom got chocolate and vanilla swirl. It was a really good
last part of the meal to really top off the whole experience of eating the awesome nochos. We were finally ready to go home, but my mom wanted to see more but me
and my friend disagreed on that. So we went home. We had a BBQ and I was the bee swatter.
After the barbecue what better way to end the day then to have a water fight. I was so worn out after the water fight I went straight upstairs to sleep.
